Continuing its Country Fried Sunday nights at Club Ohana of the Lani Kai, entertainment director Bob Tabarrini and DJ TK are excited to announce the performance of Nashville recording artist Dani Dease and her country rock band Sunday, June 25, from 6 to 10 p.m. at the 1400 Estero Blvd. location.

"Club Ohana is very excited to have Dani Dease coming back to Florida to showcase some new country music as a headliner for our 2017 Lani Kai Live Sounds of Summer concert series," Bob said.

A local FSW student, Dani is able to juggle school, work and play flawlessly, but music is her passion.

"Music will forever be my greatest passion," she said. "It has the power to lift people's spirits and get them dancing. Who can be upset while dancing!? It's always going to be my No. 1 priority (besides family) but of course school and other activities are in the mix as well. I just finished my AA Degree at Florida Southwestern and I majored in music. Everything in my life basically revolves around music, so it makes it a lot easier to juggle!"

Dani's soulful sounds, with roots from South Carolina, are carried with her full band by her side.

"I don't know what I would do without my band," she said. "I've worked with CJ Sutton ever since I moved down to Florida and he has been my "ride or die." He is the band manager/music director and he is seriously my go-to for everything even things not dealing with music!

"Derek Soutar has also been in the mix for quite some time and his talent and spirit definitely adds the spunk and happiness our group needs.

"Our newest addition, Tyler Gnerre, is a rocker/sweetheart whom I've become close friends with. He is also VERY talented and I am so blessed to have such an amazing group of guys with me. I am so lucky!"

So, what can you look forward to at a Dani Dease concert? "You can definitely look forward to FUN!" she said. "The boys and I just love to have a good time up there and to have the audience feeling the same way."

After the show, Dani is eager to meet her fans, and will hopefully have albums and merch available that night.

"I always love meeting everyone! I will of course have a meet-and-great. We are still working on merch."

As for what's on the horizon with Dani and Sunjewel Records, a new album is in the mix.

"I've worked with Julian Sundby of Sunjewel Records for almost four years and we have done so much!" she said. "We've also gone through many struggles and trials to get where we are today, and I think that it has seriously shaped the artist I am today. I am excited to continue this journey and record much more music. We are about to start working on the next album!"

Other local performances by Dani and her band include The Ranch June 23 and July 29. For more information on this local country superstar, feel free to find her on Facebook; @danidease on Snapchat, Instagram and Twitter; or visit DaniDease.com.
